About Towpath Quilt Guild

 

Towpath Guild meets at 10:00AM on the second Tuesday of the month
at the United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, located next to the
Post Office on Genesee St. In the event of bad weather, we follow
the Fayettville-Manlius school closings. 

Dues

The annual dues are

  • $20.00 by September 1 and then $25.00 after that date.
     
  •  Guests are welcome to attend a maximum of two meetings at
     $3.00 per meeting. After that time, the guest fee(s)
    may be applied to the annual dues. 

    Newsletter

    The Guild newsletter ALONG THE TOWPATH, is published four times a year and is included in the annual dues. Non-members may subscribe to the newsletter for $5.00 per year by contacting one of the editors.

    HISTORY

    The Towpath Quilt Guild started in the Spring of 1981, developing from an informal quilt show at the Fayetteville Public library. The Founding Mothers were Marty Bowne, Lee Burnham, Donna Andreas, Jean Hughes and Phyllis Scutt. Presently, The Guild has approximately 100 members.

    MISSION

    The mission of the Towpath Quilt Guild is to promote awareness and provide educational opportunities in the art of Quilting.

    MEMBERSHIP

    The only requirement for membership is a love of quilting and an interest in furthering the future of quilting. All levels of quilters are eligible to join, from beginners to experts.
