Guild Meeting

  • Fayetteville United Methodist Church 601 East Genesee Street Fayetteville, NY United States (map)

Program:  Our November guild meeting on Tuesday, November 8 will take place as usual in Homer Hall - 9:30 am social time, 10 am business meeting. There will definitely be time for show and tell. Bring something “quilty” to show.

Our November program will be via zoom at 2 pm the same day. You can watch it at your home, at someone else’s home, with friends, anywhere you can get zoom. Even if you aren’t able to attend the guild meeting, you can join us in the zoom program. You will a receive a separate email with the zoom link.

Tammy Silvers is one of the presenters in the July Global Quilting Connections Sampler that was popular with members.

She will present “Seeing Double”. Www.tamarinis.comammy Silvers presents “Seeing Double” (via zoom)

Ever wonder – what would this quilt look like if I made it in another color way?  If I used plaids and stripes instead of florals?  Well, I can’t tell you what EVERY quilt would look like, but we can explore some practical examples together!  In a fun format, we will compare quilts made in florals versus batiks, reproduction fabrics versus crisp modern prints, brights versus pastels.  Gather inspiration and insight into the choices for your next project.
